After a successful debut appearance at the Abu Dhabi Medical Congress 2009, the 3rd Middle East Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Congress will be held at the 2010 event and will feature an exciting and modern programme highlighting current trends in rehabilitation. The conference will also focus on how the current practices in rehabilitation can successfully be deployed and incorporated into the regional healthcare systems.
With increasing morbidity and disability in the UAE and surrounding areas due to conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, back pain and joint and muscle disease, now more than ever, there is a need to expand understanding and knowledge of physical medicine and rehabilitation among the healthcare professionals in the region.
