Welcome to the Abu Dhabi Medical Congress, 14 - 16 October 2012

The Abu Dhabi Medical Congress is the fastest-growing event of its kind. It brings together leading international and local companies to showcase their latest products and innovations within the Emergency, Primary Healthcare, Patient Safety, Rehabilitation and Dentistry sectors.

The Congress also serves as a platform for scientific exchange via the accompanying multi-track conference programme dedicated to these healthcare areas.

Dedicated to emergency, trauma and disaster management professionals

The Emergency Exhibition & Congress is the region’s leading event of its kind. It facilitates a broad spectrum of business opportunities for healthcare companies specialized in emergency services as well as for emergency medical products manufacturers and distributors. It also features three conferences from anaesthesia through to emergency medicine and trauma.

The premier business-to-business platform for the region’s primary healthcare sector

Finding problems before they start is the key to good health. The Primary Healthcare Exhibition & Congress covers a wide range of products and services including pharmaceuticals, healthcare management software, clinical research, diagnostics and many more. The congress also hosts three conferences from current trends in pharma, through to bone & joint and family medicine, providing healthcare professionals the opportunity to update their skills and gain CME credits.

Developing a culture of patient safety and infection control in the GCC

The Patient Safety Exhibition & Congress, the biggest exhibition area with 1500 sqms, is the Middle East's foremost interactive platform for patient safety and infection control.

Today's economic challenges and the resulting impact on budgets can create an increased risk for patient safety. The Patient Safety Exhibition & Congress 2011 promotes and develops a culture of patient safety that can be implemented despite these economic challenges. The event also prevents two conferences on healthcare-associated infection control and CSSD.

Increasing awareness in this growing industry

Every year, the National Rehabilitation Centre in Abu Dhabi sees its number of patients increase by 20 to 30%*. As governments are undertaking important projects in the sector and the need for quality rehabilitation services within the region gains prominence, the spotlight is now firmly on those companies who are able to fulfill these requirements. The Rehabilitation Exhibition & Congress is the ideal platform to showcase all products and services related to rehabilitation including mobility aids, physiotherapy equipment and many more. The show vertical also offers a three-day conference dedicated to all rehabilitation specialists.

The Dentistry Exhibition & Congress, previously held as a stand-alone show, will now be integrated to ADMC as a fifth show vertical. The event demonstrates the latest technologies from companies specialized in dental, sterilization, patient safety and infection control equipment to a influential body of senior dentists.

Dentistry devotes a whole day workshops on key areas of dentistry providing dentists and dental specialists with practical solutions to implement on a day-to-day basis.

CME accreditation

The organisers of the Abu Dhabi Medical Congress are committed to ensuring that all of the scientific conferences presented as part of the event comprise valuable and up-to-date topics that are relevant to the medical disciplines being addressed.

As the Abu Dhabi Medical Congress attracts delegates from around the region, the organisers recognise that in many of its delegates’ resident countries, medical professionals are required to undertake educational activities to achieve a recognised level of continuing medical education in order to maintain or renew their professional licence. Continuing Medical Education (CME) Accreditation forms an integral part of fulfilling this commitment.
